About PTC-PAC

We view ourselves as a cause, not just a company.

PTC-PAC is a bipartisan, employee-led Political Action Committee (PAC). The PAC pools voluntary contributions made by eligible employees to support the election of candidates for public office who share our goals as an organization. PTC-PAC exists to share the voices and protect the interests of our employees, our patients, and our business. By combining your resources with other employees, you can send a message about the issues that most deeply affect our company, like access to medicine for rare disease patients and intellectual property protections. PTC-PAC is led by a Board of Directors made up of representatives from throughout the company.

CORPORATIONS ARE PROHIBITED FROM MAKING POLITICAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO FEDERAL ELECTED OFFICIALS. Employees of a corporation are permitted to form a PAC and pool their contributions. By joining PTC-PAC, you can send a clear message about the issues that most deeply affect our company and your livelihood. The greater the PTC-PAC membership, the louder our voice is in public policy debates on Capitol Hill and throughout the country. There is no minimum contribution to participate and 100% of your contribution goes directly to support candidates.

100% OF EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTIONS GO TO CANDIDATES AND PTC-PAC STRIVES FOR EQUAL GIVING BETWEEN PARTIES. All PTC-PAC contributions are pooled together. The PTC-PAC Board of Directors, made up of employee representatives from various company departments, decide to whom the contributions should be made based on criteria specific to the PTC business. See the "Which candidates receive PAC contributions?" question below for more information.
